General Production Worker

Production Worker Solder Helper (Entry-Level) // 1st Shift Available // $17 - 18/HR (Depending on Experience)

Job Description

This entry-level role supports the production team by performing basic soldering and assembly tasks in an electronics manufacturing environment. You will assist experienced operators, prepare and organize materials, and learn proper soldering techniques while working with small electronic components and circuit boards. This position is ideal for someone who wants to start a career in manufacturing or electronics and brings reliability, focus, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic soldering of electronic components and circuit boards under the guidance of experienced technicians.

• Support soldering technicians and production staff with day-to-day production activities.

• Prepare, organize, and stage materials, tools, and workstations for production runs.

• Inspect parts for visible defects before and after soldering to ensure quality standards are met.

• Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately and consistently.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the shift.

• Handle small parts with care and precision to avoid damage and ensure proper assembly.

• Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines while performing production and assembly tasks.

Work Environment

This position is based in a temperature-controlled production facility focused on electronics manufacturing. You will work Monday through Friday on first shift, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., performing hands-on soldering and assembly tasks at a workstation. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with standard production tools and equipment used for handling and assembling small electronic components. Attire should be appropriate for a manufacturing setting, allowing you to work comfortably and safely with tools and materials.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
