Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Meetings Coordinator Intern (Paid) to join our dynamic team at ISSCR. As the Meetings Coordinator Intern, you will assist the Meetings Team with the coordination, maintenance and organization of the sponsorship and exhibit fulfillment for ISSCR’s Annual Meeting. Specifically, help to communicate with exhibitors and sponsors regarding their outstanding items, task reminders, and collect/format descriptions/content. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the fields of event and exhibit management while contributing to the advancement of stem cell research globally. Responsibilities Track exhibitor and sponsor tasks, monitor upcoming deadlines, and send timely reminders to support completion of required deliverables. Collect exhibitor and sponsor content and coordinate distribution to internal departments, as well as format materials for the program book, online agenda, and mobile app. Review, format, and edit submitted content as needed for inclusion in the program book and related meeting materials. Assist the Program Coordinator with meeting-related coordination, software system support, and administrative tasks. Support the Director of Global Events with special projects as assigned. Qualifications Interest in event and meeting management; prior professional experience in meetings or events is not required. Pursuing or recently completing a bachelor’s degree in meeting/event management, hospitality, communications, or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with an international community. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track details, and meet deadlines. Positive attitude, creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and contribute to a highly collaborative environment.
