You'll work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding, recordkeeping, and administrative support that keeps the organization running efficiently. What You'll Do As an HR Clerk, you will be responsible for:Creating and managing job advertisements and reviewing employment applicationsConducting initial phone screenings and scheduling in-person interviews with leadershipOnboarding new employees and maintaining accurate personnel filesUpdating employee information in payroll systems and tracking PTO and benefitsScheduling and documenting employee training and safety meetingsCoordinating workers' compensation claims, FMLA documentation, and compliance recordsAssisting with other HR administrative duties as neededWhat You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:Previous HR experienceStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentialityProficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systemsAttention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesWhy Join Us in Bangor?
