Details Work in a closed-model Medical/Surgical ICU caring for adult complex surgical patients, including burns, and acutely ill medical patients Burn patients currently make up less than 10% of the patient population, and no burn experience is required Patients cared for by a multispecialty team including APPs, residents, consultants, and 24/7 in-house attending ICU physicians supported by critical care fellows 36 hours per week on a Day/Night Rotating schedule with every other weekend and every other holiday required Uses Epic for charting Requirements Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted Current BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted) Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration via NURSYS and BON Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required Additional Information Provide critical care nursing support within a collaborative, closed ICU care model Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate No parking validation provided; public transportation or paid parking options available nearby American Traveler Job ID P-757277.
