Establishes collaborative alliances and promotes teamwork among staff and functional team members. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, and documents information accurately. Manages stressful and emotionally charged situations with calm and focus. Develops positive working relationships with staff and other team members. Demonstrates strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Applies critical thinking skills with a strong customer and patient focus. Utilizes basic computer knowledge and MS Office applications (Word, Excel). Acts as a peer resource and mentor for the service line, training new staff in specialty. Creates and updates preference cards for surgical procedures. Maintains knowledge of current regulatory standards and service line practices. Performs other duties as assigned.
