Assistant Mechanical Engineer, Fire Code & Plans Review
FIRE DEPARTMENT
The FIRE DEPARTMENT is looking for a full-time Assistant Mechanical Engineer to join the Bureau of Fire Prevention. This role involves reviewing fire safety and protection plans to ensure adherence to the New York City Fire Code. The successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining safety standards and representing the department in key meetings on substantial projects. A background in mechanical engineering is required, along with significant knowledge of New York City codes.
