As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing application frontend framework and technologies, with a focus on building modular, loosely coupled components that integrate with our backend microservices. You will work closely with our development team to build reusable UI components, optimize UI performance and ensure accessibility. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT ● Experience with version control systems like Git (GitHub, GitLab, Etc) ● Building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating them with UI components ● Strong understanding of UI performance optimization techniques, such as code splitting, lazy loading, and caching ● Hands on experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, and proficiency in building reusable UI components ● Familiarity with UI development tools such as Angular, HTML, Material, and CSS preprocessors like Sass ● Agile development methodologies ● Designing and implementing UI components that interact with backend services WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The likely salary range for this position is $161,500 - $218,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
