HousekeeperCleans residential housing, apartment unit, and commercial property such as offices and clinics thoroughly using appropriate cleaning agents, equipment and appliances.Essential Functions:Cleans residential housing, apartment unit, and commercial property such as offices and clinics thoroughly. Tasks include, but are not limited to:Dusting furniture, cleaning bathroom, scrubbing bathtub, taking out trash, mopping, vacuuming and sweeping floor.Cleaning stove and refrigerator as required.Changing sheets and/or pillowcases and making the bed as required.Performing laundry work as required.Uses appropriate cleaning agents, equipment and appliances during the course of cleaning.Performs house-cleaning duties in accordance with proper procedures and methods at a specified time period.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Graduate of Self-Help for the Elderly's Housekeeping Training Class preferred.Must pass a strength test for physical fitness for the job: be able to lift items up to 30 lb and move heavy and bulky items up to 50 lbs during the course of cleaning.Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours a day.Ability to communicate in English preferred.Must be able to travel via public transportation or personal/department vehicle for the performance of job duties.
