Job Id: 0000174386Job Category: OtherJob Location: ArlingtonSecurity Clearance: TS/SCIBusiness Unit: Zachary PiperPosition Owner: Chris GlendenningZachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Activities Staff Officer (Influence, Deception & Perception Management) SME IV located in Arlington, VA to support a high-visibility federal client within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)) Sensitive Activities & Special Programs (SASP).Responsibilities of the Activities Staff Officer (Influence, Deception & Perception Management) SME IV include:Develop, analyze, coordinate, and promulgate policies, strategies, and plans supporting influence, deception, and perception management (IDPM) operations, activities, and investments.Support oversight, governance, compliance inspections, and staff assistance visits related to IDPM programs and initiatives.Prepare and coordinate senior leader staff packages, decision memoranda, policy recommendations, and time-sensitive executive correspondence.Produce executive-level briefings, reports, and recommendations for senior Department leadership, Congress, and Executive Branch stakeholders.Collaborate across DoD and Intelligence Community organizations to align IDPM activities with broader strategic and operational objectives.Qualifications for the Activities Staff Officer (Influence, Deception & Perception Management) SME IV include:Active TS/SCI security clearance required.10+ years of experience developing, analyzing, coordinating, or implementing policy within the DoD or Intelligence Community, with demonstrated experience supporting assessments, operational requirements/risk, or operational planning.Experience supporting influence operations, military deception, perception management, information operations, psychological operations (PSYOP), strategic communications, or closely related mission areas.Proven experience operating in senior headquarters environments (OSD, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Service Headquarters, or equivalent), supporting governance, oversight, compliance, and cross-organizational coordination.Demonstrated experience producing executive-level briefings, policy papers, staff packages, decision memoranda, Congressional reporting, and recommendations for senior leaders.Compensation for the Activities Staff Officer (Influence, Deception & Perception Management) SME IV includes:$130,000 - $145,000Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and HolidaysThis job opens for applications on September 14, 2026.
