LDAR Field Technician

Overview As an Environmental Field Technician at Onterris, you will inspect facilities in the oil and gas industry to identify and quantify hydrocarbon gas leaks and vents. The role offers a compensation range of $20–$22 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and location. Responsibilities Assist in coordinating and navigating to various facilities with maps and GPS Help calibrate and maintain equipment Use detection and measurement technologies under the supervision of a Team Lead Collect and record emission data Prepare field reports as required Qualifications & Skills Experience in Oil and Gas industry (preference for candidates with natural gas processing/transmission facility experience) Effective computer skills (Excel and Microsoft Office essential) and proficiency with Android OS Ability to work 12‑hour shifts (days only) Valid driver’s license Preference for an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or a related technical degree/diploma; related work experience in hydrocarbon detection and measurement, LDAR, instrumentation or stack emission testing, or a mechanical background is also preferred Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to walk and/or stand while handling/carrying various technical equipment for extended periods Comfortable occasionally working at heights in a safe manner Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted Comfortable working outside in all‑weather elements Ability to climb ladders and stairs Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check For more information, visit We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
