BACK OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBER

DESCRIPTION:

Back of House (BOH) team members are an incredibly important part of the Toastique team. They are responsible for prepping, dishwashing, juicing and assisting wherever else in the store when needed. The biggest responsibility they have is ensuring juices are properly made, ensuring all prepared items are ready for each shift, and making sure the store is always clean which includes but is not limited to utensils, equipment, bathrooms, FOH and BOH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepping and juicing according to the juice prep list every day while following food safety
• Washing dishes and putting everything back where it belongs once cleaned
• Putting away deliveries using FIFO
• Staying organized and prioritizing tasks with time management
• Communicating with managers or Shift Leaders when inventory is running low
• Frequently checking trash levels and taking it out when it gets full
• Help with station preps when needed
• Checking FOH frequently for cleanliness, restocking utensils, refilling water, refilling bubblers, and assisting on stations
• Checking restrooms frequently
• Cleaning up after accidents made by customers
• Knowing when to ask for help if tasks build up
