Job Description – Senior .NET Developer / Technical Lead / Architect Location: Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent Client Domain: Wealth Management Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer / Technical Lead to join our Wealth Management technology team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern Microsoft technologies, cloud-native application development on AWS , and distributed systems architecture. This role requires a strong hands‑on developer who can lead technical initiatives while actively contributing to application design, development, and delivery. Note: Candidates applying for the Technical Lead role must be comfortable with hands‑on coding and development responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem. Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native, microservices-based solutions. Build and consume RESTful APIs and event-driven services. Develop, deploy, and optimize applications on AWS cloud infrastructure . Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to deliver business‑critical solutions. Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor development teams. Implement best practices for software architecture, security, scalability, and performance. Participate in system design, technical planning, estimation, and Agile development processes. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including Generative AI solutions, where applicable. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6/7/8 Extensive experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Event-Driven Architecture Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services, including: AWS Lambda API Gateway Amazon SQS Amazon SNS AWS Step Functions Amazon S3 Amazon RDS Experience building scalable cloud-native applications Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and enterprise application architecture AWS Certifications (Preferred) AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified Developer AI & Emerging Technologies Exposure to or hands‑on experience with: Generative AI Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) AWS Bedrock Agentic AI Prompt Engineering Vector Databases Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Wealth Management or Financial Services domain. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
