Patient Service Representative/Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

Perform x-rays to support the convenient care and occasionally the other specialties in the building. As well as, perform front desk administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Reports/records information correctly.

Qualifications

The following, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements to perform the essential functions of this position:

Education/formal training/licensure/certification/experience: ARRT registered or registry eligible in Radiology. One year of radiology experience preferred. Three years' experience in physician office with medical billing experience may be accepted in lieu of formal billing or PSR formal training.

Additional skills: Clinical training and office automation. Experience with practice management systems; EMRs; office automation skills; extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding and insurance reimbursement; strong communication and interpersonal skills; good organizational skills. Is committed to and demonstrates excellent customer service when dealing with all types of customers.
