Would creating a uniqueROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis individual will prepare food to the chefs’ exact specifications and set up stations to prepare the menu. Line Cook responsibilities will consist of assisting all chefs with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDESet up and stock stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Cook items on menu in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report and follow executive or sous chef instructionsClean up station and take care of leftover food with proper labelsStock inventory properly following guidelinesEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashionComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with co- workers and customersTangled Roots participates in E-Verify and will conduct employment eligibility verification checks on new hires after a job offer is accepted, in accordance with the Federal Law.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSProven cooking experience, including time as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cookExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFamiliar in the industry’s best practicesServe Safe Certificate within 2 weeks of employment.PREFERRED SKILLSCritical thinking skillsTeamwork and leadership qualitiesCommunication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Tangled Roots Brewing Co.
