Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in MongoDB and data serving layers to design and enable scalable, high-performance data access for enterprise applications. The role focuses on data modeling, integration from lakehouse platforms, and enabling API-driven data consumption.

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB (schema design, indexing, optimization)
• Experience with data serving layer architectures and NoSQL data modeling
• Knowledge of data integration from lakehouse/data warehouse platforms
• Familiarity with GraphQL and API-based data access patterns
• Strong understanding of performance tuning and scalability in distributed systems

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Lakehouse architectures (Iceberg, S3, etc.)
• Familiarity with Redshift or other data warehouse platforms
• Exposure to microservices-based architectures and backend integration

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement MongoDB schemas optimized for application consumption.
• Sync and transform curated Lakehouse data into MongoDB for downstream use.
• Implement indexing strategies and performance tuning to ensure efficient query performance.
• Enable GraphQL/API-based data access patterns for application teams.
• Support and collaborate with application teams to facilitate data access and serving layer integration.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency of data in the serving layer.
