Mechanical CAD/BIM Technician

Overview Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has one or more positions available for a Mechanical CAD/BIM technician for our Building Engineering Group. This position will be based out of our Denver, CO, Madison, WI or Sacramento, CA office locations. Qualifications Associate degree (or higher) in computer aided drafting (CAD) or related field from an accredited institution and at least 1 year of relevant experience; OR if no degree, at least 3 years of relevant professional experience. Ideal candidate experience Drawing mechanical systems for building projects using Revit software Setting up engineering drawing sets in Revit software Applying design standards to engineering drawings Drawing, laying out, sizing, coordinating and detailing mechanical systems Attending project team meetings Coordinating with the design team Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors Occasional travel may be required How to apply At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
