Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse opportunity in San Francisco, California. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within the facility's surgical departments. The role requires adaptability to float across different units and fulfilling various surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Baccalaureate (BSN) degree, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, 2 years of OR RN experience or equivalent
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating in Ophthalmology, scrub experience in at least two lines of business such as GYN, General, Otolaryngology (ENT), Urology, Plastics/Breast, Pain, Robotic surgery; CNOR certification and experience with modified time requirements preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Skills: Extensive experience as OR RN Circulator in GYN, General Surgery, Otolaryngology, Urology, Plastics/Breast, Pain Management, Robotic procedures, and familiarity with robotic surgical systems are highly preferred
• Additional Information: Ability to float to other UCSF facilities, adherence to facility protocols, completion of required modules prior to start, and submission of two recent references are mandatory. Travelers must be cleared to start on the confirmed date of 08/18/2026.
