As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Desk in Malvern PA this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by greeting visitors verifying identification and/or visitor access and following site-specific front desk procedures at a financial services location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity answer questions direct employees and guests and report unusual or suspicious security-related concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating site-specific emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Support access control activities by documenting arrivals departures deliveries and/or visitor information and maintaining accurate front desk records in accordance with site policies.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining an attentive presence at the front desk and following established security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
