Med-Surg Telemetry Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Every other weekend required.

The Med-Surg Telemetry Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a medical-surgical environment. This role involves monitoring patient's vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients' health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-care techniques.
• Document patient care in compliance with organizational policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current State License as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Previous experience in a Med-Surg or telemetry environment preferred.
