Automotive Technician – Full-Time

Serra Champaign Automotive Group is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. We are a family-owned dealership offering long-term stability, career growth, and a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities

Perform automotive repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems
Test-drive vehicles and use electronic diagnostic equipment to identify issues
Communicate repair needs and time estimates clearly with Service Advisors
Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Maintain a clean, organized work area and protect customer vehicles

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair software
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Basic computer, reading, and math skills
Ability to learn new automotive technology and repair methods
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused
Valid driver's license required
