This distinction reflects our commitment to exceptional patient care, clinical quality, and the caregivers who make it all possible.The primary responsibility of the Application Analyst I (Entry-level analyst) is supporting application systems and databases, participating in projects, and maintaining documentation.Responsibilities and DutiesMaintain application systems and databases (focus on maintenance work).Participate in reliability projects, updates, and standard work. Leads one project/year at minimum.Ensure system maintenance/updates and overall health of applications.Adherent to on-call and downtime standards.Participating in continued education/self-improvement events yearly.Contribute to resource and capacity planning for projects.Ensure accuracy of service catalog.Participate in release and change management for applications.Gain experience in integrated application testing.Shares knowledge with teammates regarding upgrades/release note reviews/testing requirements, etc., to raise awareness across analysts.Focuses on team incident cue to include aged ticket review.Active in monitoring and meeting team SLAs.Agile foundation skills.Implementation and use of all Ai tools that support role.EducationAn associate's degree or higher in Healthcare or IT, or 2–5 years of relevant experience, is required.ExperienceExperience in an IT or healthcare role is strongly preferred.Application end user experience preferred.Experience in change management preferred.Certification & LicensureEpic Certification in primary application is preferred at hire but required within (12) months of hire. If newly certified in application, must be deemed competent within (12) months to include completing all required orientation and trial employment goals on time.
