Technical Demand Generation Manager

Who We Are Looking For

OurPetPolicy is looking for a Technical Demand Generation Manager to build and operate the systems that generate qualified pipeline.

This is not a traditional Marketing Manager role. The focus is not on managing a campaign calendar or coordinating marketing activity. We need someone who can determine where demand-generation efforts should be focused, identify the market segments worth pursuing, build the systems and automation to reach them, and turn that work into qualified opportunities.

You should be equally comfortable analyzing customer data, building the infrastructure to reach target segments, and evaluating funnel performance to determine what is working, what is not, and what needs to change.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will influence demand generation strategy and execution while working directly with marketing technology, automation, and data systems.

We care about what the work produces, not simply the amount of activity it creates. The ideal candidate has owned a pipeline or demand generation target and can demonstrate what they personally built, why they built it, the results it produced, and what they learned when something did not work.

Key Responsibilities

? Own demand generation initiatives with a primary focus on generating qualified pipeline.

? Analyze customer, market, and closed-won data to refine our ideal customer profile and identify the highest-value market segments.

? Develop targeting, messaging, offers, and channel strategies for different customer segments.

? Build and manage scalable outbound and nurture programs from segmentation and enrichment through booked meetings.

? Own and optimize marketing automation systems, including HubSpot workflows, lifecycle stages, lead routing, scoring, and data management.

? Build enrichment and prospecting workflows using tools such as ZoomInfo, Apollo, and other data sources.

? Create automations and integrations using APIs, webhooks, and platforms such as Zapier and Make.

? Use AI within demand generation and automation workflows to improve targeting, efficiency, and performance.

? Manage email infrastructure and list quality, including authentication, suppression, deliverability, and data hygiene.

? Build and maintain funnel reporting and dashboards that connect marketing activity to qualified opportunities and revenue.

? Analyze campaign, channel, segment, and funnel performance to identify opportunities, bottlenecks, and areas that should be changed or discontinued.

? Evaluate the marketing technology stack and recommend where tools, processes, or spending can be consolidated or improved.

? Maintain clear documentation for workflows, automations, processes, and systems.

? Exceptional U.S.-based remote candidates may be considered, with periodic travel to Boise.

Requirements:

 

Required Skills and Knowledge

? Strong B2B demand generation experience with direct responsibility for pipeline, MQLs, qualified opportunities, or similar measurable business outcomes.? Ability to develop and execute demand generation strategy independently rather than simply implementing campaigns defined by others.? Strong understanding of ICP development, market segmentation, targeting, messaging, and channel selection.? Advanced experience with marketing automation and CRM systems. HubSpot experience is strongly preferred, although deep experience with platforms such as Marketo or Pardot may also be relevant.? Hands-on experience building automated marketing workflows, lead management processes, routing, scoring, and lifecycle stages.? Experience with lead enrichment, prospecting, outbound automation, and data management tools.? Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, integrations, and automation platforms without relying on a technical team for routine implementation.? Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently evaluate funnel performance and marketing data.? Understanding of B2B SaaS metrics and commercial concepts, including pipeline, conversion, customer acquisition cost, and sales cycle performance.? Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify what is not working, determine why, and make changes accordingly.? Highly proactive, technically curious, and comfortable building systems in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

? Approximately 3–5 years of experience in B2B demand generation, marketing automation, growth marketing, marketing operations, or a related technical marketing role.? B2B SaaS experience, particularly with longer sales cycles or multiple decision-makers.? Experience managing cold email infrastructure and deliverability.? Experience using AI models as part of automated marketing or business workflows.? Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or other technical tools used for marketing analysis and automation.? Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth environment where you have built marketing systems rather than inherited established processes.
