Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Company: Fusion Medical Staffing Location: Facility in Dunedin, Florida Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 20 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days Employment Type: Travel Job Description Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Physical Therapist for a 20‑week travel assignment in Dunedin, Florida. Responsibilities & Essential Work Functions Evaluate patients using tests, exams and history to identify functional limitations. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on goals. Implement treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy and modalities. Operate and maintain specialized equipment safely. Assess progress, adjust treatments, and document interventions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OT and other professionals for coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, injury prevention and self‑management. Maintain safe environment, adhere to infection control and safety guidelines. Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities. Collaborate in discharge planning for smooth transitions. Perform any duties within scope of practice as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid state Physical Therapy license. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate in physical therapy. Experience preferred; new graduates welcome. Additional certifications or licenses as required. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence and interpersonal communication. Proficiency in English reading, writing and verbal communication. PC skills and ability to read instructions. Physical abilities: stationary, movement, moving equipment 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, bend. Interpersonal: positive attitude, professionalism with diverse personnel. Technical/Motor: fine manipulation, assist procedures, use equipment. Mental: cope with public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with minimal supervision, handle irregular schedules, detailed concentration. Sensory: visual acuity, effective communication.
