is currently seeking motivated Class A and B CDL drivers with manual experience to become a part of our team. Our CDL drivers satisfy a critical role. This position places an emphasis on reliability and attentiveness, as maintaining both a truck log and the trucks themselves are daily responsibilities that come along with the position.

Responsibilities

Essential

Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform all work adhering to MSHA and H&K Safety policiesDrives truck to destinationPrepares receipts for load pick upMaintains truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policyMaintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructionsLoads and unloads truckInspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and waterPerforms daily pre and post trip of vehicleTarps all loads when public roadway travel is necessaryTrims all loads prior to tarping when necessaryOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills, Education, and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institutionClass A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience OR Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experienceManual transmission experienceClean driving recordCustomer Service and TeamworkStrong Verbal and written communication skillsAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as neededAbility to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience3 years of commercial driving experience

Strong preference for 3 years of triaxle driving experience
