Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with physician directives and cater to patients’ specific needs and goals.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, to deliver effective therapeutic care.
• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes through shared knowledge and strategies.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques.
• Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with relevant regulations, ensuring clear communication with healthcare partners.
• Ensure optimal patient engagement and satisfaction by fostering an environment focused on excellent customer service.
• Meet specific utilization goals and business objectives while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population including those recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will have the opportunity to treat individuals of all ages and backgrounds, providing a comprehensive therapeutic approach aimed at restoring function and independence. Establishing strong relationships with each patient is critical, allowing you to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals effectively and compassionately.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills paired with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in word processing and computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• A demonstrated passion for helping others and the ability to build strong, empathetic relationships with patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in managing a caseload of diverse patients with varying levels of functional abilities.
• Prior experience with specific populations such as pediatric and geriatric patients or those requiring sports rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies and protocol-driven care.
• Active engagement in continuous professional development, including participation in workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

Compensation and Benefits
