This position is situated in an outpatient office setting where collaboration shines. The regular schedule runs from Monday to Friday, providing a standard 40-hour work week with set hours that promote a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with physician directives and cater to patients’ specific needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, to deliver effective therapeutic care.
- Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes through shared knowledge and strategies.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques.
- Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with relevant regulations, ensuring clear communication with healthcare partners.
- Ensure optimal patient engagement and satisfaction by fostering an environment focused on excellent customer service.
- Meet specific utilization goals and business objectives while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population including those recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will have the opportunity to treat individuals of all ages and backgrounds, providing a comprehensive therapeutic approach aimed at restoring function and independence. Establishing strong relationships with each patient is critical, allowing you to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals effectively and compassionately.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice.
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills paired with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in word processing and computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- A demonstrated passion for helping others and the ability to build strong, empathetic relationships with patients.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in managing a caseload of diverse patients with varying levels of functional abilities.
- Prior experience with specific populations such as pediatric and geriatric patients or those requiring sports rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies and protocol-driven care.
- Active engagement in continuous professional development, including participation in workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
Compensation and Benefits
