Exciting Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Job Description: - Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry and be part of a caring community! - Responsible for evaluating patients and providing top-notch assistance to physicians in patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to each patient’s needs. - Identify patient needs and prioritize care through thorough assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care based on ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patients' problems or needs, physicians' medical diagnoses, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions that make a real difference in patient outcomes. - Manage care for up to 6 patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality care. - Document care in line with standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for and support evidence-based practice care standards and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with our professional nursing practice model. - Embrace the opportunity to take on additional duties and responsibilities as they arise. Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum of 2 years (recent) Telemetry experience is a must. - Required experience with chest tubes and stroke patients. Education: - ASN from an accredited nursing school is required. - BSN is preferred. Certifications & Licensure: - BLS - AHA Certification. - Valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. - NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS). - Telemetry Certification or successful Telemetry Competency Exam. - CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours. Languages: - English proficiency required (Read, Write, Speak).
