Ensure the forklift is stored correctly, fueled, cleaned, maintained, and ready to operate daily. Safely and effectively operate the baler. Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks. Move inventory and materials to proper locations throughout the facility. Submit inventory records and logs at the close of the day. Follow instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties. Must become familiar with and adhere to all workplace safety rules and regulations. Be willing to perform tasks as required by management. Duties and responsibilities in this posting are not all-inclusive. Requirements of the Production Worker/Forklift Operator At least 1 Year of recent experience operating a sit-down forklift. Willingness to learn. Good communication skills. Ability to work at a pace required to meet deadlines. Ability to adapt to changes or modifications in the way work is done. Ability to work safely and effectively as a member of a team. Must be conscientious and pay attention to detail. Availability to work required shifts and hours. Computer Savvy Steel-toed boots are required. Pay & Schedule of the Production Worker/Forklift Operator Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays 6:40 AM - 4:00 PM Starting pay is $17.00 - $18.00 an hour DOE Temp-to-hire position Anyone offered a position with Atlantic Staffing Consultants must undergo pre-employment drug screening and criminal & employment background checks.
