Highlights Competitive Pay - $58/hr Flexible Scheduling - 13-week, Day shift contracts available Bonus Opportunities - Contract Completion / Referral Bonus Professional Development - Training, CEUs, and career advancement opportunities Responsibilities Perform manual and automated testing procedures in accordance with safe radiation practices Prepare and monitor patients for diagnostic imaging procedures Follow radiation safety and protection protocols Monitor nuclear medicine procedures to ensure accurate dosage of radiopharmaceuticals Maintain radiation safety in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Monitor and maintain radiation levels in the testing area Perform and document routine maintenance on nuclear medicine equipment Qualifications Requires active status through one of the following: American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT): Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) or Nuclear Medicine, RT(NM); or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB): Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT). Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
