Job Description The role offers a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for new hires. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Vascular Sonographer to join our Vascular Lab team in Augusta for a 32‑hour per week position. The Role Recent or upcoming graduates from a sonography program are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Perform clinical vascular diagnostic services. Acquire accurate and comprehensive patient history and ensure that all documentation is complete. Verify patient identification, assess clinical symptoms, historical information and overall physical condition, and ascertain relevance to the requested ultrasound exam. Interpret examination results and report emergent findings to referring physician or designee immediately. Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence; participate in educational functions within the department, including training. Demonstrate positive customer service skills when dealing with patients, families, referring physicians and their office staff, nursing unit personnel, and medical center departments. Qualifications Registered as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registered as a Vascular Specialist (RVS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within one year of graduating from a vascular sonography program or within two years of cross‑training from another ultrasound imaging modality. One or more years of previous experience with a variety of modalities including extra‑cranial, venous, peripheral arterial, and visceral imaging. Work Schedule 32 hours per week.
