Monday - Friday hours will vary based on coverage needs between 7:00am to 6:00pm (overtime and rotating weekends may be required as needed)Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to client, hospital and PSC locations.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment1 or more years' experience assisting all patient age groups (pediatric - geriatric)Current or prior LabCorp experienceAdditional Job Standards:Will primarily cover sites in El Paso, TX / Las Cruces, NM and surrounding areas. (approximately 50+ miles)Ability to work in a fast paced / high volume work environmentAble to pass a standardized color blindness testBe 21 years of age or olderHave a valid driver's license and clean driving recordReliable transportation neededFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAs a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience.
