Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Recovery to provide high‑quality, efficient care for surgical patients in the post‑anesthesia period at Texas Orthopedic Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare. This role requires a compassionate nurse who applies critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care. What You Will Do In Your Role Care for and manage surgical patients in the post‑anesthesia period. Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care. Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes. Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism through active engagement in unit and organizational activities. Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team. Be accountable for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred). At least 1 year of clinical experience as an RN in a Recovery Room setting. Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or a Multi‑State Compact license (must obtain a Texas RN license within 90 days of hire). Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
