Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at South Western Behavioral Health Center, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough and insightful assessments to identify clients’ mental health concerns, formulate accurate diagnoses, and develop suitable treatment plans.

  • Delivering therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

  • Providing immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate care.

  • Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, including treatment plans and progress notes.

  • Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for our clients.

  • Educating clients and their families regarding mental health topics, treatment options, and applicable community resources; advocating for clients' rights when necessary.

  • Staying abreast of the latest best practices in mental health therapy through ongoing professional development, workshops, and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population encompasses a diverse array of individuals, including adults and adolescents facing mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will engage with clients and their families to navigate challenges, enhance their coping strategies, and facilitate a transformative journey toward mental wellness. You will work with clients both in crisis and those seeking long-term therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

  • Strong clinical assessment skills with proven diagnostic abilities.

  • At least two years of related professional experience in mental health counseling.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a sincere commitment to client welfare.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
