Employment Type Part-time Requirements Current Michigan Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene or equivalent accredited program completion Current CPR/BLS certification Demonstrated clinical competency in dental prophylaxis, scaling, and periodontal assessments Experience taking and processing dental radiographs and understanding of radiographic safety Strong knowledge of infection prevention and aseptic technique Ability to maintain accurate patient records and basic familiarity with dental charting Clear, professional communication and patient education skills Reliable, professional work ethic and ability to work collaboratively with the team Job Description Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis (cleaning), scaling and root planing, and polishing Take, develop and review dental radiographs and digital images Conduct patient assessments: obtain and update medical/dental histories and vital signs Provide oral hygiene instruction and preventive education tailored to patient needs Maintain accurate, timely patient records and charts using practice management software Follow aseptic technique and infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide when authorized by credentialing and practice policy Assist the dentist as needed and participate in team treatment planning Contribute to a positive patient experience through clear communication and professional conduct Benefits Dental insurance Paid time off Employee discount Professional development assistance Retirement plan Jobley Bonus: $90 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley) Shift & Schedule Primary schedule for this role: Tuesday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Thursday 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM Practice office hours: Monday–Friday (specific hours vary); occasional coverage requests may arise Work location: In person (Clinton Township, MI) About the Practice Name: Baker & Ochs Location: 35207 Groesbeck Hwy, Clinton Township, MI 48035 Baker & Ochs
