Ambulatory Practice Coordinator I

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ambulatory Practice Coordinator I to join our team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will support the efficient operation of ambulatory care services by coordinating daily activities, managing patient flow, and ensuring excellent communication between patients, providers, and staff. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and managing daily ambulatory practice operations to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal use of resources.
• Serving as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues promptly.
• Assisting with scheduling, patient registration, and documentation to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Monitoring and managing inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for ambulatory services.
• Supporting compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to improve patient experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Previous experience in healthcare coordination or ambulatory care settings preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
