Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on communication skills, language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Provide inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when needed, maintaining continuity of care throughout the treatment process.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Possession of state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.
• Preferred: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
