Geotechnical Lab & Field Testing Services Intern

Job Description Take Your Geotechnical Career to the Next Level Kleinfelder's Redmond, WA office is seeking full‑time or part‑time interns for the summer/fall 2026 in Geotechnical Lab & Field‑Testing Services. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students pursuing Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. Step into Your New Role Under the supervision of experienced PEs and certified staff, the intern will assist in advanced laboratory testing and data logging of field explorations. Hands‑on training will be provided. The intern will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor. The internship will last three months, but dates are flexible. General knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) is preferred. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required. Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program or geology program. Successful candidates will be required to complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
