Orthopaedic Academic Surgeon

University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a full-time Orthopaedic, academic surgeon that is an MD/DO and BC/BE. This position will be considered at the non-tenured level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.

Major responsibilities include performing general Orthopaedic surgical and ambulatory care, teaching and research supporting the Downtown Jacksonville and Durbin Park locations. Benefits are excellent; salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position will report to the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Expected Salary: Salary and academic appointment will commensurate with training and level of experience.

Required Qualifications: Successful candidates will have a MD/DO, completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and be board certified or board eligible.
