Registered Nurse - Stepdown

Schedule
Shift: Nights
Weekends: Required

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Valid RN license (OK or Compact)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience in telemetry/stepdown unit with a 4:1 patient ratio expected
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ABG interpretation, and respiratory support

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in a stepdown/telemetry unit
- Administer medications and IV fluids as per protocols
- Manage post-operative care for patients, including post-cath and post-MI care
- Participate in rapid response and code team situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Document patient information accurately in the charting system

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Local availability must be listed at submission
- Travelers may be asked to float to like units within scope as needed
