ImageCare Radiology
is hiring a Full-Time Tech Aid for our Morristown office. All Successful hires will need to report to Mount Olive on their first day for onboarding.

SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm, and Saturdays 9:00am - 1:00pm.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Skilled and organized Medical Assistant that assists our healthcare team. Assist with performing a combination of various administrative and clinical tasks. Administrative responsibilities include greeting patients as they arrive, answering phone calls and emails as needed, scheduling appointments as needed, and updating and filing patients’ medical records on EMR and/or on site as pertinent to patients’ needs. Clinical duties include taking patient medical histories, recording patient vital signs as needed, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the physician during examinations. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Helps patients by providing information, services, andassistance.

1. Maintains medical supplies inventory as needed.

1. Verifies patient information by interviewingpatient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.

1. Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary evaluations. 

1. Secures patient information andmaintainspatient confidence by completing andsafeguarding medical records and keeping patient information confidential.

1. Counselspatients by transmittingphysician ’sorders andanswersany pertinent questions.

1. Maintainssafe, secure, and healthy work environment byestablishingand following standards and procedures andcomplying withlegal regulations.

1. Keeps supplies readily availableforthe Technologist and other medical staff.

1. Updates job knowledge byparticipatingin educational opportunities and reading professional publications.

1. Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements.

1. Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership foraccomplishingnew and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

1. Assistsas needed with vascular access as directed (if certified to do so)

1. Perform any other related duties asrequiredor assigned.

1. Handling patient priors as needed.

1. Checking and verifying exam with EMR order vs Rx 

1. Maintain clean and stocked workarea.

1. Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training.

MEDICAL SPECIALTIES 

• Radiology

EDUCATION

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE 

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical Assistant/Tech Aide: 2 years (Preferred)

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)

ABILITY TO COMMUTE/RELOCATE

• Morristown, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
