Experienced Concrete Finisher – Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with residential and/or commercial concrete projects and be capable of producing high-quality finished surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, place, and finish concrete for sidewalks, walkways, patios, driveways, slabs, and other structures.

• Set forms and ensure proper alignment, grade, and depth before concrete placement.

• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using hand and power tools (screeds, floats, trowels, and power trowels).

• Cut control joints and finish edges.

• Apply broom finishes, stamped finishes, or other decorative concrete finishes as required.

• Monitor concrete curing process and apply sealers when needed.

• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.

• Work with crew members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid state license and reliable transportation too and from work. 

• Experience in concrete finishing.

• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and curing practices.

• Experience with stamped and decorative concrete is a plus.

• Ability to read grades and work off string lines and forms.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to work well with a crew and follow directions.

Schedule

• Full-time seasonal position with occasional overtime depending on project needs.

• Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend hours depending on project needs.

• PTO and sick time offered.
