Corporate Communications Specialist, Listings

As a Listings Communications Specialist reporting to the Director of Communications, you will play a key role in helping companies navigate their IPO journey and broader listings lifecycle. You blend client management, media relations, and executive support while working closely with issuers, business media, and cross‑functional teams to bring Nasdaq's listings story to life. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary communications contact for companies preparing for and completing their IPOs, providing strategic counsel throughout each stage of the listing process. Build and maintain relationships with business media—reporters, producers, and editors—securing coverage and managing inbound press inquiries. Partner with broadcast, data, and social media teams to coordinate listing day activations, media moments, and content opportunities. Develop briefing books, talking points, and executive prep materials for media interviews, speaking engagements, and public appearances. Draft pitch materials, messaging documents, and narrative content tailored to client needs and broader market positioning. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of communications experience, with a strong preference for agency background. Demonstrated experience managing client relationships in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Excellent writing skills across press materials, talking points, and executive communications. Strong relationships with business and financial media, with working knowledge of capital markets and the IPO process. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with listing structures such as traditional IPOs, direct listings, and SPACs. Experience supporting senior executives in high‑visibility, client‑facing settings. Exposure to global teams and cross‑functional collaboration in a matrixed environment. This position will be located in New York and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least three days a week in‑office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates. The base pay range for this role is $88,000 – $154,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short‑term incentive), and equity (long‑term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth.
