Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Tech II | T.C. Harris School & AcademyAs a Maintenance Tech II, you'll help keep the T.C. Harris campus, Academy, and group homes safe, functional, and well maintained. You'll perform a variety of building and grounds maintenance tasks, respond to maintenance needs, and help ensure facilities meet agency and State standards.In this role, you'll:Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building repairsComplete preventative maintenance and routine facility inspectionsMaintain buildings, grounds, equipment, and facility systemsRespond quickly to emergency maintenance needsUse a computer-based work order system to document and track workFollow agency safety, confidentiality, vehicle, and maintenance proceduresParticipate in required training and maintain current licenses or certificationsParticipate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service needs during assigned on-call timesCommunicate professionally with staff, students, and other internal and external contactsWhat we're looking for:High school diploma or GEDLicense or certification in a building tradeAt least 2 years of maintenance or building trade experienceExperience using hand and power toolsExperience working in a fast-paced environmentExperience using a computer-based work order systemValid driver's license and clean driving recordStrong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMyPath and its Operating Companies provide specialized services and dignified care for children, adolescents and adults with special needs.
