This position will define and drive regional initiatives that enhance partner engagement and revenue generation. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute effective quarterly business plans to boost engagement and revenue growth within your region. Establish and nurture strong relationships with partner executives and sales teams, both existing and prospective. Collaborate with Proofpoint's regional sales leaders for integrated territory strategies, joint account planning, and execution to enhance pipeline creation and improve deal closure rates. Work with your Sales Engineer to provide comprehensive technical training and enablement sessions that deepen partner knowledge of Proofpoint's solutions. Conduct regular training sessions with partner sales teams to empower them to effectively convey Proofpoint's value proposition. Partner with the Channel Marketing team to implement targeted marketing initiatives that generate measurable ROI in your territory. Engage directly with partners to update on deals, verify forecasts, and maintain pipeline visibility, ensuring alignment with Proofpoint priorities. Own and accurately forecast regional channel sales, compiling data to provide insights to sales and channel leaders weekly. Develop a strategic recruitment approach for new partners to sustain growth in the region. Stay informed about competitive positioning and industry trends that impact your region. Manage account mapping and business planning alongside Proofpoint's field sales and key partners in your area. Aim to consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics. Regularly engage with partners and customers to strengthen relationships and foster mutual success. Qualifications/Requirements Proven expertise in managing and expanding partner relationships, ideally in the cybersecurity or SaaS industries. Exceptional leadership capabilities with a talent for influencing without authority and aligning diverse stakeholders around common objectives. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships. Strong analytic skills and business acumen, demonstrated by a history of delivering measurable outcomes. Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, navigating priorities and resolving complex challenges effectively. Familiarity with CRM and partner management tools, particularly Salesforce. A bachelor’s degree is required. Established connections with significant partners such as Optiv, Guidepoint, WWT/Softchoice, Trace3, ePlus, and Defy are essential. Why Choose Proofpoint?
