Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), with every 3rd weekend requirement.

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding childbirth and postpartum expectations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS required.
• BSN degree required.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification required.
