Department 34401 Carolinas Medical Center: Mercy - Nursing: 7N Surgery Orthopedics Position Details Part time, 24 hours per week, two 12‑hour night shifts (7 pm–7 am). Weekend and holiday coverage required. Eligible for benefits. Pay range $38.20–$57.30 per hour. Sign‑on and relocation bonuses available under specified conditions. Where You Will Work 48‑bed Orthopedic Surgery, Medical Surgical, Telemetry Unit. Procedures include total joint (knee, hip, shoulder), spine, shoulder procedures, and general medical patients. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of inpatient RN experience (1 year preferred). Accredited nursing program completion. Registered Nurse license issued in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience outside of the New Grad residency program. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care consistent with established standards, policies, and procedures.
