Work Environment\n

This position is set within a community health clinic, where you will work remotely, enabling flexibility while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional care. Our organization supports a collaborative atmosphere that encourages growth, job satisfaction, and creative contributions from each team member. While your primary working hours will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, you may occasionally need to accommodate clients by offering evening or weekend sessions.

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to determine clients' mental health needs, ensuring appropriate interventions are identified.

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring evidence-based treatment plans that align with individual client goals.

  • Providing individual, couples, and group counseling using a range of therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and personal growth.

  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

  • Maintaining diligent and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

  • Engaging in regular clinical supervision and professional development activities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders, as well as those dealing with addiction issues. Your expertise will not only help clients navigate their emotional challenges but also empower them to develop coping strategies and foster resilience. This role is integral to improving our clients' quality of life and mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

  • A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited program.

  • A proven track record in conducting both individual and group therapy within a mental health context.

  • Strong proficiency in employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the diverse needs of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure.
