Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Urology Clinic Location: New Haven, Connecticut 06510 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date: 09/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 8 hours (07:30 AM - 4:00 PM) Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 - $1,970 Charting System: Epic Orientation: 16 hours Hours per Week: 40 Setting: Outpatient specialty clinic / ambulatory care Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license prior to start date Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient nursing, specialty clinic nursing, or a related clinical setting Travel RN experience preferred Current BLS certification Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting Strong skills in phone triage, chart preparation, authorizations, and medication refill workflows Ability to work effectively in a high-volume outpatient clinic environment Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required Must be comfortable working within scope to meet clinic needs and support team workflow Responsibilities Support outpatient urology provider visits and procedures Complete nursing visits, including bladder chemo instills, catheter changes, and rectal swabs Perform phone triage and assist with patient communication in a busy ambulatory care setting Prepare charts, manage authorizations, and support medication refill requests Assist with a variety of urology-focused clinical tasks and patient care needs Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to maintain smooth daily clinic flow Float within scope as needed to support outpatient clinic operations Maintain accurate documentation and deliver patient-centered care Why This Travel RN Opportunity?
