Logistics Specialist

Job Description

Manage facilities, logistics, shipping/receiving, and material handling to support 24/7 communication networks. Maintain audit accountability, chain of custody, inventory, spares, RMAs, and lifecycle tracking for government and customer equipment. Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance to ensure safe, operational work environments.

Skills and Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Trade Compliance, Materials Management, or a related discipline; equivalent military, technical, or professional experience will also be considered.

Specialized experience supporting inventory management operations

Proficiency with business and logistics software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio) and enterprise systems such as Zeus, Deltek Costpoint, and Salesforce.

Minimum of 2 years supporting logistics, supply chain, facilities, or operational support functions.

Coordinate and execute facility and logistics support activities, including troubleshooting operational issues and responding to service requests.

Accurately maintain records, reports, and documentation in compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to remain professional and customer-focused while managing high-priority situations in fast-paced environments.

Experience supporting military personnel, government programs, or defense-related equipment and operations.

Ability and willingness to travel between company sites in Virginia and Alaska, as well as other operational locations requiring logistics or facilities support.

Proven capability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities in support of mission-critical operations.
