Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, stabilizing, and managing acute patient needs with professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care effectively.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and document clinical information accurately in EPIC.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including required certifications.
- Float to various campus locations as needed to meet patient care demands.
Qualifications:
- Hold a minimum of 2 years of recent ED nursing experience.
- Current and active RN license in good standing.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
- Knowledge of trauma and charge nurse responsibilities highly desirable.
- Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam within two attempts.
