Assembler I (1st) - Packaging

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler I (1st) - Packaging at our Reno, NV facility. The hourly rate for this position is $20.47 per hour. CORE HOURS: 6:00 AM - 2:30PM. Use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices. Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams. Pick, pack, and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner. Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise. Maintain work areas clean and safe. Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to: Maintain 5‑S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas. Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor. Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas). Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity. Exposure to oils, lubricants, and solvents.
